About the Lecturers
Dr. Joseph Handley is the president of A3. Previously, he was the founding director of Azusa Pacific University’s Office of World Mission and lead mission pastor at Rolling Hills Covenant Church. He co-led one of the first multi-national high school mission congresses in Mexico City in 1996 and is a contributing blogger for the Billy Graham Center’s Gospel-Life Blog. Joe serves on the International Orality Network leadership team and on the advisory teams for ELEVATE, BiblicalTraining.org, and DualReach. Joe strives to develop leaders for missional movements.
Dr. Kirk Franklin has been the Executive Director of the Wycliffe Global Alliance, finishing on 3 June 2020 after 12.5 years. His academic interests include the intersection of globalism, leadership development, and the future of mission. Kirk has been a member of Wycliffe Bible Translators since 1980 and has held various management and leadership roles in Papua New Guinea, Australia and globally. He lives with his wife Christine, in Melbourne, Australia.
Mary Lederleitner, PhD, is Managing Director of the Church Evangelism Institute and Research Institute at the Wheaton College Billy Graham Center. Prior to that she served as Executive Director of Missional Intelligence, and twenty years with what is now the Wycliffe Global Alliance. She authored Cross-Cultural Partnerships: Navigating the Complexities of Money and Mission, as well as Women in God’s Mission which won a 2020 Christianity Today book-of-the year award in the mission / global church category. She serves on the board of OM Global, Catalyst Services, and on the Leader’s Cohort of the World Evangelical Alliance Mission Commission.
Dr. Allen Yeh is Associate Professor of Intercultural Studies and Missiology at Biola University. His areas of geographical expertise are Latin America and China. He earned his B.A. from Yale, M.Div. from Gordon-Conwell, M.Th. from Edinburgh, and D.Phil. from Oxford. Allen has been to over 60 countries on every continent. He is the author of Polycentric Missiology (IVP, 2016), and co-editor (with Tite Tienou, former Dean of Trinity Evangelical Divinity School) of Majority World Theologies (William Carey, 2018). He serves on the Board of the Foundation for Theological Education in Southeast Asia, and the Board of the Evangelical Missiological Society.
